This publication presents the results of a research project conducted by the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of the study was to analyze a number of socio-economic and security issues related to returnees from Syria and to establish their profile through direct contacts with that group. The study falls under the project Defining the Factors and Processes that Lead to Radicalization, Extremism, and Terrorism in Bosnia and Herzegovina – DeFRET supported by the STRIVE Global Program, funded by the European Union, at Hedayah.
