This research paper analysis is a result of a one year research within the project Enhancing the Understanding of Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTF): Challenges for Rehabilitation, Resocialization, and Reintegration of Returnees in the Republic of North Macedonia implemented by the NEXUS Civil Concept and the Institute for Human Rights. This analysis seeks to answer the questions related to this phenomenon that directly affects the Macedonian society while providing an additional overview of the measures taken at the regional and the international level.
