National CVE Strategies

While grassroots organizations, NGOs and community leaders often are critical for effective solutions to prevent violent extremism, and are significant implementers of CVE programs. The development of good programs for CVE can be enhanced and magnified if a comprehensive and effective strategy is put in place at the national level. Although some countries have created comprehensive CVE strategies, which may differ from each other as to meet their specific local needs, many others have yet to develop and fully incorporate all relevant sectors in their measures to counter violent extremism.

In this regard, Hedayah supports governments in developing national strategies to counter violent extremism or reviewing existing ones and building action plans for implementation. Hedayah continues to expand its trainings and workshops, similar to the ones it has already conducted for government representatives of several countries.
